Members Section
NOW AVAILABLE...
As a result of the Addressing Occupational Health and Safety
Requirements on Farms and Rural Properties project, a new
section on Farmsafe WA's website is now available for its
members.
OH&S Self-Audit Tool for
Members..
This project saw four free OHS workshops run in the Wheatbelt
region during March 2011, which addressed health
and safety requirements on farms and rural properties and tested
Farmsafe WA's newly developed OHS audit tool.
The farming community provided some valuable
feedback during these workshops and as per their suggestions, the
new members only section of the website has been created.
This section provides Farmsafe WA members with access to the
audit tool and valuable OHS information, including OHS legislation
and best practice options.
Currently, the audit tool covers four significant OHS
topics:
- Occupational Noise
- Chemical Storage, Handling and Disposal
- Slips, Trips and Falls
- OHS Responsibilities
Farmsafe WA endeavours to further develop this audit tool
through the addition of extra modules, so that this section of the
website becomes a one-stop-shop for your farm safety needs.
