Safety Needs Analysis Survey

Click here to take the Farmsafe WA Safety Needs Analysus Survey

The needs analysis survey is designed to go straight to the source – you, the West Australian farmer – to investigate the safety practices on WA farms and uncover the solutions, services and assistance the farming community would like to receive from Farmsafe WA Alliance.

This is the first time in Farmsafe WA Alliance’s 16-year history that we have gone straight to the farmers to ask you what you would like from us. To the best of our knowledge it is also the first time a survey of this nature has been undertaken in Australia.

Please help us create history, and in the process help you, by completing survey questionnaire by July 30, 2010.

About Farmsafe WA Alliance

Farmsafe WA Alliance aims to protect farming families and workers and improve farm business performance through better safety awareness and practices. Farmsafe WA Alliance is an independent, non-government, not-for-profit, incorporated body and an organisation of farmers, community and industry groups.

Our mission is to form partnerships with the WA farming community and identify health and safety issues, provide knowledge and motivation, develop strategies and help find solutions for improved work practices and lifestyles.

All information received by Farmsafe WA Alliance will be treated as strictly confidential and used for no other purpose than this survey. We do not require any identifying information, including names and addresses (unless you would like to join our mailing list and be in the running to win one of our sponsor's prizes).

If you have any questions, or require assistance, regarding the survey please contact the needs analysis project officer Stuart Horton on (08) 9359 4118 or email

*All completed surveys will go in the draw to win one of three prizes from our sponsors.

- Two Driza-bone bushman’s jackets(donated by Wanneroo Great Wall)

-A two night stay at Goodearth Hotel Perth (donated by Goodearth Hotel)

-A Mack 1 Motorcycles gift voucher (donated by Mack 1)

WA Farm Safety Needs Assessment Survey

Farmsafe WA Alliance will be conducting an important and very necessary WA Farm Needs Assessment Survey. This survey will take the form of telephone and written questionnaires to determine what services, assistance and information farmers and their families are in need of and how best Farmsafe WA Alliance can help.

We aim to commence this survey over the next few weeks and strive to make contact with as many people as possible in order to achieve the desired results. This will be a great opportunity for us to know what is important to you in regards to safety on your farm and property.

We trust that you will support our cause by taking the time to either complete our written questionnaire or via telephone. We will of course keep everyone informed as to our progress with the fantastic project.

For further information please either call our office on (08) 9359 4118 or email:
