Farmsafe WA Alliance is hosting "Time
to Act" - 7th National Farm Health and Safety Conference on behalf
of Farmsafe Australia. This national conference aims to build on
the previous theme, Leading Change by providing the opportunity to
discuss what is happening and encourage organisations to move
forward and act towards changing the safety culture in rural
enterprises.
The program is a diverse and
colourful event that is underpinned by quality abstracts and
spear-headed by several outstanding individuals whose presentations
will both inspire, inform and entertain.
We encourage anyone interested in
renewing energy and commitment to farm health and safety; learning
the latest on what works in farm health and safety; learning
practical ways to improve farm health and safety promotion and
activities and exchanging valuable ideas and tips with colleagues
to attend the conference.
The event will be held from the 13th
to 15th October 2009 at The Vines in the Swan Valley and involves
an industry tour as well as a mid-conference dinner and the
presentation of the National Farm Safety Awards.
